All right. Now today’s podcast is going to be our weekly update and this is number seven. So we are going to be going over our weekly experiences, let you know what’s new and justice tumbling company and kind of give you an idea of where we’re going and what we’re doing and, and uh, just keep you, keep you filled in. So we are hot off of the, uh, the, the Valentine’s Day camp that we had. It was a, uh, it was a cupid’s clinic 2019. We had a really good turnout. It was a blast. Um, we had some heart shaped pizza and, and a and drinks and way more chocolate brownies than we needed.

Big turnout. We weren’t sure how many we’re going to actually show up, but a good turnout. Uh, some girls brought their boyfriends and actually ended up learning quite a bit.

Yeah. Yeah. Well he got a standing full in and just those two hours that night.

Yeah. Uh, he had thrown a couple standing tux before, naturally talented kid, super light on his toes, super athletic and picked up a standing for real quick.

It was amazing. It was amazing. Um, so the reason why we wanted to have boyfriends come to the cupid’s clinic is just picking, you know, w we, we remember dealing it with, with it whenever we were younger. Um, people don’t think that cheerleading or tumbling at least is a very hard thing to do until they actually come out and try it. I know that a dusty Brad slur, Rusty’s brother, he, uh, he was a football player and then decided to try out and do some cheerleading and even still to this day, I think he says that it’s the hardest thing that he’s ever done and overcome.

Yeah. I told him that she would actually come to one of our stock classes, but he was like, he didn’t want to be shown up by any high school kid. Um, it is a hard sport. I mean girls off to go watch their guys do sports all the time. It’s good to see a little change of, uh, these boys coming in and actually seeing what their little girls actually I have to put up with.

And, and then along with that, you know, conditioning and seeing the, the, uh, physical exertion that it takes to actually flip and get your body to rotate in the air. Um,

southern two guys, they’re actually, one of them was taller than me and he got a standing talk. It was pretty impressive, right? That’s right. You did say, I warned him about his ankles and he, he wasn’t worried about it, but he left. He left with some sore ankles. So those were the two

brand new guys. And then of course, we had two other boys who, who are very familiar with cheerleading, very familiar with tumbling. Um, but, uh, you know, it’s, it’s always fun getting new people in and seeing them leave with skills just because, um, and, and they’re always a little nervous. It’s, it’s, it’s weird going and coming into a sport where, you know, it’s dominated by females and, um, it just puts them in an uncomfortable place. But whenever they’re with their girlfriends and we’re playing games, we’re having fun, you know, they’re able to kind of relax and see what it’s all about. So I think it was a good drive for the boys who are in cheerleading to see this new guy just walking. I go stand right there. Like, uh, also these past couple of weeks we’ve been working with, um, stunt, you know, working in cleaning up stunt routines for sport, the sport of stunt, the sport.

Um, but there’s also a tumbling in stunt, right? And so we’ve, we have, uh, really been focusing on the technique that is needed that the judges are looking for for stunt. And, um, it’s actually quite different than what we teach to get new skills in tumbling. It is, it’s very basic skills and they’re looking for clean and on account with the rest of your team. And you know, everything that we have always told all of our athletes is that every motion you hit in your tumbling is a, it is emotion. Like, so if you go up and you pull your knee up for a hurdle, that is a motion that you have to hit. But in, in this, uh, what does it sport, this note, it’s not the sport in stunt the sport. They actually want to see that, um, even more prevalent than, than we’ve even taught.

Um, getting that knee yet, putting it up, getting those, those arms. There’s no swing. There’s only a Hivy. Yeah, yeah. Hurdling in a Hivy. That’s a weird one. Um, just because we’re teaching kids, actually we were working with a kid last night and one of our classes that likes to put her arms too wide and around, off. Um, and so if she, and she’s too young to do stunt, but, um, once she gets into stunt, it’s kind of scary cause that’s going to reinforce that, that behavior that we’ve tried to take away. Um, but anyway, so we win. We’ve been working hard on, on getting these teams ready for stunt and, uh, and we’re excited. We’re just excited to see what happens and, and where it goes. Now the next thing we wanted to talk about was our, our memberships. So if you’ve been here before, you’ve heard us talk, um, uh, you know, we have fliers about our memberships and whatnot.

We have bronze, silver and gold. And then so the one that we sell the least of his gold, um, it’s $200, but it’s for unlimited tumbling. We do have, uh, three kids on it and they’re getting a lot of tumbling in. They’re getting a lot of drills, a lot of hard for tumbling, um, advanced or intermediate Tom a tumbling. They’re coming in for open gyms. We’re not trying to, to sell it, but we do want to let you guys know that, um, that option is available. It is a, it’s a good option for people who are looking to get in before tryouts and get a lot of time in the gym. It’s not something that, uh, preparing for tryouts. We’ve, we’ve done podcasts over it. Um, we don’t encourage you to wait until the last minute and get in as many privates as you can. Uh, but if you’re looking to get in for a gold membership and have unlimited tumbling, that’s the best way to do it.

Yes, it’s a great deal. They ended up saving a lot of money. They, they were just doing privates, are paying for the classes individually. Um, they’re getting to work with different coaches getting to use me and you’re not staying in the same class with the same coach every week. Um, and it’s for the three that have been doing it. I’ve seen a big improvement. Absolutely. It’s definitely a good option. A, we also have another cause of the cupid’s clinic went so well. We have another clinic coming up over spring break.

Yup. In March. And uh, and so it’s going to be a three day camp and at the on the last day, now you don’t have to come to the camp in order to come to the lock in, which is on the very last day. Um, but if you pay for the camp, the lock in is included. So the lock in is, is uh, regularly $30 by itself to come in where we’re going to have a pizza or some kind of food. Um, may may be tired of pizza, but uh, we’ll do, we’ll play games. We’ll uh, we’ll tumble. I’m sure

the movie is, we’ll do different kinds of things. We have a TV up here and multiple TVS up here already. So

video games even we were going to have a blast, are rusty and I will both be up here, but our wives will be up here as well. Uh, and then, you know, if you’re, uh, if you’re a parent and you want to be a chaperone, we would, uh, we would love that too. Um, so it’s going to be a lot of fun. Every time we have a camp or a clinic here, we want to make it different than what any other kids have experienced anywhere else. Uh, and so that’s our goal. And, and that’s something that we’re going to do over spring break. So That’s March 20th, 21st and 22nd, and each day they start at 10 and they end at 12. And then that last day you’ll get to go home, kind of recuperate. Um, oh really good. A nap. And he, yeah, yeah. Relax. And then you’ll come back, uh, for the lock in that night and we’re going to have lots of fun and then breakfast in the morning. And so anyway,

and another update, a, if you’ve been coming in, all privates are going to be ran through card. Now we’re trying to go without no more cash, no more checks and everything. We have a cube up here that people can just swipe their card and tailor it that way. Very easy.

And, and the reason why we’re doing that, we’ve taken cash and check for a long time, but, uh, we’re not able to really keep track of taxes that way. And so we want to do it right. We want to do it all the way we’re supposed to do it. And so that’s the easiest and best way to make sure that happens. Um, anyway, so it’s been a great week here at Justice Tumbling Company if, uh, Oh, don’t forget, we are still doing our um, uh, dollar deal, which is your first month is only a dollar. Yeah. Can you believe that? It’s crazy. That’s unheard of. I know. I know. Uh, if you are a or, or you know, someone who’s looking to get into a class, um, or maybe a couple of classes, we do have that dollar deal. Um, and uh, and it’s just awesome. We’re getting kids from all over coming in and we’re showing them what justice, tumbling company is all about. So we love it.

Hello and welcome to Tulsa tumble talk with justice tumbling company, the one and only Tulsa tumbling show where we your Tulsa tumbling experts. Answer the questions that we get from parents and athletes on a daily basis. We are your hosts Coulton cruise and rusty breaths slur and we are the owners of justice tumbling company in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
