and my amazing wife Caitlin brought
and we’re here at late after a long, hard day of work in justice classes. All of our families are here, all three of my kids and, and little datsun. Rusty’s a brand new baby boy. He’s here as well. So you might hear us, you might hear some stuff in the background. Just ignore it. This is a family program and this is a family business and we’re a family. So, uh, here we go. Alright. So cassie, you’re going to get to start us off today. Why don’t you tell our Tulsa tumbled talk audience a little bit about yourself and you can start by. Who are you? Um, well, I’m cassie. I’ve been married to Colton for almost eight years. Tumbling Tulsa, and we have three kids together. All right. So why don’t you tell us what you do inside justice tumbling company? Well, um, I work the front desk on Mondays and Wednesdays and I do all of our accounting and financial stuff. So you pay the bills? Yes, I do.
Yeah. She’ll be up here on Mondays and Wednesdays degree with that friendly smile and answer any questions you might have involving our business.
I mean, who doesn’t want to see that beautiful face, that gorgeous red hair. So hot now, apart from being a mom, the busy life of three kids, what do you do outside of justice? Tumbling company? Um, I’m a preschool teacher at New Beginnings Church and I teach a two year old class. Is that it? Is that all you do? I’m pretty much you play video games.
I would also give yourself a little credit. She is a very skilled video gamer, Tumbling Tulsa
Gamer, epic Gamer. She, she’s not proud of it though. Okay. So the next question is, where are you from? Well, I was born in New York. And what part of New York? Everybody always assumes the city. So yeah, no, it’s a town called Binghamton being Hampton. Yup. Um, and then I moved to North Carolina when I was young and went to high school there. And then I met Colin and we moved to Oklahoma. No, I just want to remind you guys though, rusty and I are veterans at the podcast game. Caitlin and Cassie, this is their first one. So cut them some slack. They’re doing a great job. We’re really having fun with this. All right. Now the next question is, what is your favorite part about being in the justice tumbling family? Well, like I said, I’m a mom of three. Um, I have a seven year old daughter who is in our program and um, I’m passionate about having a safe place where parents can bring their kids to learn while also having fun.
What a great answer. I think you knocked it out of the park with that one a. Now we got a bonus question. Bonus question. Bonus question. Okay. Uh, now listen, listen. It’s an important one. All right. Cassie, are you ready? I don’t know. Well, you better get ready because here it comes. What is your favorite Superhero and why? Um, my favorite superhero is, you know, just getting it would probably be superman. I know that’s a generic, but um, I really like everything that he stands for truth, justice and the American way. Right? Yeah. All right, well now, now we’re going to let rusty take control of the mic. And he’s gonna he’s gonna. Interrogate his wife. Caitlin, don’t, Tumbling Tulsa. Alright. Okay. Let’s, uh, let’s go over the same questions. Let’s tell our listeners a little bit about yourself. Starting off with who you are.
All right. My name is Caitlin. I am a rusty’s wife. We’ve been together for, Gosh, 12 years now, years now. I’m married for seven and I’m mom to 10 month old DAX and two fur babies. Savvy and Zander. Tumbling Tulsa, if you do the math there, you might realize that it took me quite a long time to propose and that’s fine. No, Kaitlyn, why don’t you tell us where you’re from? I am from Oklahoma City. That’s where I actually met rusty. We met at the University of Central Oklahoma. Go broncos. I’m in Edmonds. And what is exactly is it that you do for the business? I work the front desk on Tuesdays and Thursdays and I also handle the facebook account in the instagram account.
So you do all the social media and the artsy stuff. Ever since I’ve known her, she’s been very artistic, so we let her take care of most of that and other than taking care of our little monster. Dax done. What is it you do outside of the business?
I work as an aesthetician at Belvita spot and Salon in South Tulsa. Now, for anybody who doesn’t know what an aesthetician is because I didn’t for the longest time, what is it that you actually do there? So I deal with all things skincare. Tumbling Tulsa, I do facials, I do eyelash extensions or lash lifting and all kinds of waxing, facial and body.
So if you are a cheerleader needing your eyebrows or eyelashes done for competition, you can come into justice tumbling and set something up with my wife.
Tumbling Tulsa last question is, what is your favorite part about being a part of the justice tumbling family? I love that we did this with our families and that we’re able to create a safe place for kids to come, have fun, learn to tumble. And also I’m just kind of escape and have their own little safe haven.
And now for the bonus question, I’m not even going to bother asking you who your favorite superhero is because I know it’s awkward, man. Just because Jason memo is your man crush. So I don’t want to hear all that right now. Let’s, Tumbling Tulsa, when you first met me, what did you think about me being a male cheerleader? Dating a male cheerleader. Right.
So Chilean is a lot more, um, it’s more of a thing in Tulsa or Oklahoma City, so, or it used to be anyway, so I was really, at first I was like, taken back. I was like, Tumbling Tulsa, okay, cool. But then once I saw you do your thing, I was like, okay, this is really cool and it’s different and it was really fun to watch you.
I remember her bringing her parents to watch me at the college football games. Definitely, definitely intimidating. Good answer. Good answer. Now I’m curious because cassie’s same question, when you met Colton, he was in the marines, so I doubt that you knew he was a male cheerleader. How did that first conversation come up or what did you think when he first told you that that was his thing?
Um, well, like you said, he was a marine, so I was surprised. Tumbling Tulsa, at my high school we didn’t really have male cheerleaders. I didn’t know that was like a thing for strike.
It is, it’s always an awkward conversation. I remember every girl I ever dated, I always tried to put it off, let them get to know me first before dropping that bomb out on.
Which is funny because rusty and I both dated cheerleaders and we ended up marrying a non cheerleaders, so that was all all we ever dated. But then you know, Tumbling Tulsa now they don’t even know what we’re talking about half the time we’re talking about full sort of falls. Well Rusty, have you had fun with this one?
We did read it. It’s probably the funniest one because Caitlin, my better half.
So it’s good for people to know the better side of rusty slater and, and you know, we always go home and talk to our wives about it. I’m sure about doing these podcasts and they don’t know really what goes on and now they do all the shenanigans and how long it actually takes to make one of these things because the editing that goes into it, the mess ups, the mistakes, all that. Now we’re going to put them on the spot. We’re going to have them do our outro that we normally do. Tumbling Tulsa Are you girls ready? We’re ready. Okay.
